1", 1.5" and 2.25" Button makers
The Makerspace has three button makers (which create 1 inch, 1.5 inch and 2.25 inch buttons) and a limited supply of blank pinbacks. Come make your own badges and buttons! Bring pre-made button templates, or create your own using paper and the circular paper cutters available.
Templates for each size of button and instructions for using each button maker are below. The templates open in Microsoft Powerpoint allowing you to add text, insert images and size appropriately for your final button.
Making a large number of buttons?
Please be aware that if are making buttons for a club, special event or activity there will be a fee associated with using the Makerspace button supplies. In these instances the first 20 buttons will be free of charge. Any buttons exceeding that will be charged a fee as follows:
2.25" buttons are $0.50 each
1.5" buttons are $0.30 each
1" buttons are $0.25 each
An alternative is to purchase your own button making supplies. A list of materials and sources for ordering can be found here is provided below. It is necessary to purchase the items listed below and not substitute other supplies. The button makers only work with these specific supplies.
