Off-Campus Access (EZproxy)

Off-Campus Access (EZproxy)

Off-Campus Access (EZproxy)

Collins Library provides off-campus access to library databases and electronic journals for Puget Sound students, faculty and staff. When attempting to access these resources from off-campus, an EZproxy authentication page pops up for you to enter your Puget Sound email username and password.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Password Resets: If you are having trouble with your password at the EZproxy login page, your password may need to be reset. Contact the Technology Services Help Desk: via email or at 253.879.8585. (NOTE: If using Firefox browser, make sure the "Save Passwords" setting is not checked, otherwise new passwords will not be accepted.)
  • Studying Abroad: If you are having trouble with EZproxy access out of country (Example: Page Cannot Be Displayed") and it is not a password issue, you may need to enlist help from that university's IT department to resolve firewall issues. (Out of state problems are difficult to resolve and often linked to ISP Provider issues.)
  • Personal Computer Firewalls: If you have firewall software on your computer, this could block EZproxy access.
  • Website Access Point: Are you accessing our online materials through bookmarking to an old page? We update our links occasionally which could affect EZproxy access.

Problems Accessing Databases?

Please contact libref@pugetsound.edu with a description of the problem (screen shots help!) and a staff member will respond as soon as possible.
