Archives & Special Collections

The Archives & Special Collections hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year for the Puget Sound community. From individual class sessions to open houses to lectures and exhibits relating to the university's history, we hope you'll find a reason to visit us soon!

Class Sessions

We work with our liaison librarians and faculty members to develop unique class sessions using materials from the Archives & Special Collections that complement and enhance course content. Class sessions may focus on a particular era or topic, primary source research, or book history. Classes take place in the Archives Seminar Room on the 2nd floor of the Collins Library. Please contact archives@pugetsound.edu to discuss a specialized class session.

Public Events

We host several events during the year that are open to members of the Puget Sound community and the general public. In addition to the guest lectures that occur several times per semester, we also have regular open houses that showcase an array of items from our collections or focus on a specific campus club or event.
