Arielle Rodriguez is the Humanities & Interdisciplinary Studies Librarian at the University of Puget Sound. Arielle is the liaison librarian for Asian Languages & Cultures, Asian Studies, Bioethics, Crime, Law & Justice Studies, French & Francophone Studies, German Studies, Greek, Latin & Ancient Mediterranean Studies, Hispanic Studies, Latin American Studies, Latina/o Studies, and Philosophy.
Arielle is interested in equitable access to information, critical information literacy, and ethical production, use and dissemination of information. As a former first-generation student, Arielle is also interested in the unique information and academic needs of students in marginalized and underrepresented groups.
Arielle earned a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University (Montclair, NJ) where she double majored in Philosophy and Classics; a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK); and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington (Seattle, WA).
