Information Literacy: A Portal for Faculty: Student Tutorials

Online Tutorials and Tools for Students

Collins Library offers Research 101and Academic Integrity @ Puget Sound--that provide introductions to key information literacy concepts.  We envision a variety of ways faculty might wish to utilize these with their students:

  • As a launching point for class discussion
  • As an introduction to a research-based assignment
  • As an assignment  to be completed prior to attending a library session
  • As links in course sites on Blackboard or Moodle

We are interested in hearing how you use these tutorials!  Please let us know so that we can post your ideas and pedagogical strategies to this page.

Course Research Guides

Collins librarians are more than happy to create library resource pages to support course assignments.  If you would like course- or project-specific library resource page, please do not hesitate to contact your academic department's liaison librarian.

Links to existing course research pages can be found on theResearch by Subject page for each subject, as well as on a central Course Research Guides page.
