Faculty may request materials for the library collection at any time by sending those requests via email or campus mail to the liaison librarian for the department/program. These requests should be guided by our Collection Development Policy. A request to add a journal subscription requires additional information because of the ongoing expense. Please submit journal requests using the Periodical Request Rationale form. You will need to log in to your Puget Sound Google account to populate this form.
New faculty in a tenure-track or clinician position may receive a one-time award of $1,000 with a limited expenditure timeframe. Check with your liaison librarian about this award if interested. These monies are provided to help address collection inadequacies in areas where you will be teaching. They can only be used for one-time purchases, not for subscriptions.
