The entire library staff is dedicated to providing you with the information resources and services you need when and where you need them.
Our primary Mission is to support the teaching, research and scholarly activities of the University of Puget Sound's faculty, students, and staff. Some services are restricted to those who are employed or enrolled at this institution. If you are a visitor to Puget Sound we strongly recommend that you work with librarians at your own college, school or public library. They may be able to uncover resources that you overlooked and/or make a referral to a library that best suits your needs. If you need to use another library, your librarian may be able to make arrangements on your behalf. You are also welcome to call our Library Services desk at 253.879.3669 with questions before you come to visit. View the Library Annual Report 2017-2018. We invite you to review our Strategic Priorities for the Collins Library in support of Leadership for a Changing World, University of Puget Sound 2018-28 Strategic Plan.

From Interstate 5, take Exit 132 and stay on the right side to head toward Gig Harbor/Bremerton/ Highway 16. Take the second exit, Union Avenue. Follow the directions below.
From Interstate 5, take Exit 132 and stay on the left to merge onto Highway 16 (if you stay to the right, you'll end up back on Interstate 5 heading north). Be careful; it is one of those ramps where you are trying to merge ON to Highway 16 and people are trying to merge OFF it at the same location! Once you have merged onto Highway 16, take the very next exit, Union Avenue. Follow the directions below:
Turn right at the light at the bottom of the ramp. Travel north about two miles; go straight through the light at 6th Avenue and the next light, North 11th. You will see the campus on your right. Continue on until you reach North 18th Street and turn right. The library is located behind the chapel. See the Campus Map for the exact location.
Street parking is available on North 18th Street . You may also park in lots designated for general parking. A parking decal is required for other campus parking not designated for visitors.
