Science is not neutral

Systemic racism, sexism, and biased resource allocation affects who does scientific research, what research is prioritized, how that research is conducted, and who has access to the information created. In the process of reading, creating and disseminating scientific information it is our responsibility to consider "who is not represented in this work?"
