Using Library of Congress Subject Headings

Collins Library, like most academic libraries in the United States, uses Library of Congress Subject Headings to describe the content of books. Subject headings tend to lag behind terminology used today, meaning some subject headings may be outdated or considered incorrect. Below are several examples of subject headings that will be useful when searching for books related to Sexuality Studies.
